Led by Dr. Gawdat Bahgat (Professor, NESA Center) and Karim El Aynaoui (Executive President, Policy Center for the New South), the event looked into primary security concerns in the Middle East, identifying socio-economic, security, and strategic obstacles while exploring opportunities for fostering economic growth and political stability. The discussions emphasized transnational threats such as climate change, terrorism, and economic stagnation, advocating for “regional solutions to regional challenges.”
