Royal Jordanian National Defense College Academic Kick-off

The Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies continues to foster a strong partnership with the Royal Jordanian National Defense College (RJNDC). Deans Richard Wiersema and Charles Marks recently delivered a course of instruction from 6–10 October 2024 to 161 RJNDC students and faculty in Amman, Jordan. The course focused on strategic propositions that shape the development of national security strategies, allow for strategic planning, and drive organizational change in large organizations.

The long-standing relationship between the NESA Center and the RJNDC will continue to build on this free exchange of ideas and perspectives. The partnership will continue with a visit by the RJNDC Commandant and senior faculty to Washington, D.C., in the fall of 2024, followed by a visit to Amman, Jordan, by NESA Center faculty after the New Year.
