On 16 June 2025, NESA Center Associate Professor Dr. Michael Sharnoff led a discussion about Israel’s multifront war against Hamas and Iran and fielded questions about U.S. government policy with 50 students and faculty from the Israel National Defense College (INDC) in Washington, D.C. This timely discussion coincided with Israel’s unprecedented military campaign against Iran’s nuclear, missile, and military complex on 13 June. The exchange enhanced professional ties and reflected the shared commitment to strengthening trust and security cooperation. The INDC’s meeting with the NESA Center represented part of a broader research trip in the United States to understand national security challenges and opportunities and engage with appropriate counterparts.
