In this iteration of the NESA IOR Digital Series, Ambassador Alex Rondos, the European Union’s Special Representative to the Horn of Africa, explores state-level interaction in the Horn of Africa, as well as outside actors’ perception and actions to secure their interests in the region. While the Horn of Africa is geopolitically significant through its proximity to one of the world’s most commonly used trade routes, the region itself is growing in its political and economic dynamism.
