The NESA Center Launches Online, On-Demand Courses for Alumni

On 23 May 2023, The NESA Center announced the launch of its online, on-demand courses for alumni through the GlobalNET Learning Management System (LMS).

There are currently 26 courses available. The courses are self-paced and cover a wide range of security topics including  Great Power Competition, Law of Armed Conflict, Violent Extremism, Maritime Security, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Drone Warfare, and Missile Defense. NESA Center faculty and staff are continuing to grow the library of on-demand courses, which will build upon the varied expertise of our faculty on topics such as Countering Human Trafficking; Women, Peace, and Security; Environmental Security; and more. The course content consists of video lectures and self-guided presentations from NESA Center faculty and other subject matter experts. Following each lecture or presentation is a knowledge-based test where alumni have the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion for the course.

The NESA Center is thrilled to offer this new resource for alumni. Our alumni community of more than 13,000 security professionals is at the core of what we do, and we are dedicated to helping our alumni enhance their professional military education, gain new skills, advance their careers, and most importantly, contribute to their development as leaders in their field.
