On 21 June 2022, the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies hosted 24 students and faculty from the Israel National Defense College (INDC) at Lincoln Hall on Fort McNair in Washington, DC. NESA Center Director LTG Terry A. Wolff, USA (Ret.) headed a discussion on the Russia-Ukraine War and fielded questions about U.S. government policy regarding potential outcomes from that conflict. Dr. Aaron David Miller from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace then conducted a 90-minute seminar on challenges and traditions in American foreign policy. The group finished up with a walking tour of the National Defense University (NDU) campus and a vigorous discussion with NESA Center Professors Richard Wiersema and Charles Marks about the nature and purpose of senior professional military education.
