31 March 2021 – The NESA Center conducted a virtual private event for the National Defence College of Iraq to address the challenges and obstacles ahead of U.S.-Iraq relations under the new Biden Administration. The discussion was led by Mr. Daniel Curfiss, with a welcome by NESA’s Academic Dean, Dr. Roger Kangas, and Director LTG (Ret.) Terry Wolff’s welcome and presentation. The Iraq delegation was headed by the Dean of the Iraq National Defence College, Staff Navy MG Ahmed Omran Abd. Following a session assessing U.S. National Defence Strategy considerations; a second session focused on the evolving challenges the world faces from COVID to climate change, and what policy priorities we can expect from the Biden Administration.
