U.S. Army War College Visit to the National Defense University

On May 15th, 2026, the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies hosted an engagement with the U.S. Army War College Staff, bringing together 11 military participants for a focused discussion on the NESA Center’s role in advancing regional security cooperation and strategic dialogue across the Near East and South Asia regions. The session examined the Center’s ongoing efforts to support partner nation capacity building, foster professional military education, and facilitate multilateral collaboration amid evolving geopolitical dynamics. Participants also discussed current security challenges and ongoing developments in the Middle East, including regional stability, strategic competition, and emerging security concerns impacting U.S. and partner nation interests.
